live in Tenerife, very difficult to get help

As I live in Tenerife I am finding it very difficult that anyone will help me I have been trying 9 months to get an answer from Barclaycard asking is it possible to come to some arrangement and can they please help by stopping the intrest until this is set up`now they have passed onthe det to Risk Management Alternatives and the said they would sent a Mr Henry to visit me on Friday he never arrived. I need them to stop the interest at fist the det was 2400 and now its 4000 only in 9 months what should I do and how can i make an arrangement with them when I have no Phone and the movil number is not mine I cant afford to be rining the uk it very expensive regards jocelyn

Is this your only debt - and surely Barclaycard would not go to the trouble of sending a doorstep collector to Tenerife?

I wouldn't have thought they would have done that, not very cost effective, even if they use a local one.
