I currently bank with nationwide flex basic ( absolutely fine )
Only reason I have opened a Lloyds basic account wise Lloyds is very close to my house and also it allows you to pay in and withdraw at a post office.
As for nationwide it allows you to withdraw at post office but no deposit, and the branch is otherwise of town and nightmare to get too.
I no the deal with Halifax Lloyds group etc.. closing banks, but I’ve done live chat and everything and they seem to think an Iva is okay ?? Has anyone got one currently with no issues?
I have opened it just waiting for card pin ect.. just don’t want to close nationwide to find Lloyds close this account too??
You can pay in cheques via the banking apps, You don't have to visit a branch. Sounds as though Lloyds will be ok but keep your Nationwide one open as a back up.

I never got around to closing my old account with the Halifax ... just moved all my business to the Co-Op and allowed the old account to lay dormant. I have used it since completing my IVA, but am nervous about keeping any great amount in it.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
Pretty much Lloyd decided to freeze and close my basic account 4 days after it being opened and fully usable, baffle me Lloyds hsbc Halifax do , just thought I’d let you no
HSBC and sister company First Direct are well known for not liking people who have been in an IVA.
