Can anyone shed any light on Logan Whyte? I had a meeting of creditors last week that I found out didn’t actually happen. I wasn’t told until I did some digging and I’m now with Logan whyte having been passed over from credit fix. Contact has been minimal and I feel like I’ve been dropped, I just want an outcome as I feel more stressed now that I did before I started this whole process.

You would be better off stopping the process with them and going elsewhere. Have a look here: creditors-pushing-me-to-logan-whyte-t91814

Problem is I’m not sure I can afford to wait with the time it’ll take to start the process again. My TSB account is locked with a full months wage in it, I need a letter from my Insv.prct to be able to get the funds out and I don’t currently have one as I haven’t yet been accepted, waited nearly 2 months (including time with creditFix) and I’m currently worse off than I was. I honestly don’t have a clue what to do anymore

Is Bankruptcy or a DMP an option for you?

No not really, an IVA seemed like the perfect solution but i seem to be going round in circles. I’ve had an agreement through to sign from Logan whyte today but even that’s taken a week. I just don’t want to be messed around as we all don’t, surely they’re legit?

Yes, they are legit, but service levels differ between firms. The chances are, going by what has happened in the past that CF were rejected (not you) by creditors because of the high rate of fees they charge. So they have shunted you along to Logan Whyte who charge less, but are closely connected. Further, there is a firm called Ebenegate, based in Mauritius. who administer IVA's on behalf of IP's ---- their press is less than impressive --- apparently LW use them also (Ebenegate is also closely connected with CF ). Bit of an incestuous mess really.

I’ve noticed a few of the creditors weren’t listed on the new agreement also but not sure why. Thanks for the info, much appreciated as I can’t find anything on the internet about them and they’ve told me
Nothing about themselves on the 1 phone call I’ve had. Gonna give it a few more days and see what happens, preying for some positive news.
Thanks for replying 👍

I would approach other companies... a couple of extra weeks now sorting it out will pay huge dividends to your iva in the long run.

We're not allowed to recommend any companies but would suggest you avoid the big companies and go for the smaller ones who have a more sympathetic and personal approach. Look around the forum at some of the posts and see who people are happy with.

I've just had the same, well I'm in the process still.

One of my creditors refused creditfix fee and they have transferred me to logan whyte.
My IP with insolvency experts did not seem concerned, so I'm hoping I get my draft proposal through soon as credit fix sent it them but I still have to see it yet.

Steven Cooke of the Insolvency Experts, although an IP, would not be your IP if they handed you to Creditfix, or Logan Whyte -- it would be one of Creditfix's four IPs or Logan Whyte's Russell Whyte Buchanan.

I suspect, for reasons best known to them, that they are merely supplying Creditfix with leads / fact finding service for a fee --- they don't care whether you go with Creditfix or with Logan Whyte --- they will still get their fee and then lose interest.

The water gets ever muddier !
