I've just submitted my mortgage application to Magellan. IVA started 2015 and satisfied May 2017. I'm sick with worry knowing that if this fails, I have no other option according to my broker. Does anyone know of any other lenders who would consider me for a Help to Buy mortgage following an IVA that was satisfied just over a year ago?

Speak with Ryan and / or Shaun ... both whole of market brokers with connections with lenders who are more sympathetic to those of us with an IVA in the past.

Shaun: memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=22837

Both have helped many forum members get sorted.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Without knowing who the broker you are using at present I can't comment on whether this is an area of specialism for them or whether they have access to other lenders. It's true that you will be in a fairly narrow space for the time-being but whether other options are available to you will depend on your other circumstances. There's no harm in asking for some preliminary advice from someone else, even if just to confirm what you've been told.
