Are you plagued by this at work as well? Seems everywhere I look it's present [:(!]

Was having a nice day yesterday until one of my staff rang to say Head Office had called him to ask him to work shifts I already had him down for and they had given them away to another lad. All because they had entered 90% of the June staff Rota into the system but not the rest for reasons only known to them.....

To top it off was told a member of staff could not work last night nor the rest of the month as his SIA licence had expired and Head Office had not got him a dispensation letter like they had been asked to. I've just submitted his new application directly for the 4th time as it's ben lost 3 times in a row by my firm or the licensing authority, no one has the gravitas to admit who is at fault, I hate that! [:(!]

Sorry just needed a rant lol.

Does anyone else suffer such levels of uselessness from colleagues haha?

Yep, I know the feeling! One of my colleagues in the US office was 'let go' yesterday as his work 'wasn't up to it'. For that read he wasn't a yes man, and his boss had it in for him as he had the cheek to make suggestions to improve the business that didn't agree with hers.

The upside of this that we are now a member of staff down in a department that was understaffed anyway. This will have a knock on effect throughout the company, but did anyone think of that? No, of course they didn't!

Anyway, that's my rant over for the day!

Haha glad I'm not alone Skippy [:)]

So many bosses are very useless, think it's a required skill.

Ooooh do not get me started on that one plasticdaft.....I think the NHS would run better if we sacked half of the management and put the money saved in front line staff like Doctor's, carers, cleaners etc.

All respect to managers on this forum

Isn't there a saying those who can't do the job end up as managers :)
