Me and my partner are trying to get a mortgage. My partner had a 6 year IVA which finished in October 2016. A Mortgage advisor has told us that because of the IVA few lenders would touch us except a sub prime lender, but everything we read says we should be able to get a mortgage even a high street lender with advice from a specialist mortgage advisor. Advice is much needed

Hi,

Have a word with either Ryan or Shaun who are our resident mortgage experts and they may be able to help.

You can find Ryan's and Shaun's details here: memberlist.php?mode=team

They are in yellow, towards the bottom of the list.

Hi Cath,

Please feel free to contact us to discuss your situation. We have access to High Street Lenders who will look to lend 6 years after an IVA began.
