Hi All

I just wanted to say how highly I think of Melanie....

Melanie is not my IP (although had I found this site earlier she certainly would be).

But still, I had a query last week regarding the fact that I needed to create a new I & E due to circumstancial change with my hubby's job..

And Mel offered to look through my I & E before submitting to my IP out of hte kindness of her heart - nothing in it for Mel at all....

It all went ok and my payments didn't need to increase (phewww)..

But just wanted to take the time to make a point of giving Melanie the praise she deserves......

So, thanks again Mel :)

Mel is brilliant! Excellent IP and someone I count as a good friend.

Well said. Mel wasn't my IP (my IVA probably wouldn't have failed if she had been!) but she's always been there to help me and offer advice.

Like Jan I count her as a friend x

I have had many a beer with Melanie but also had a few chewings from her when she was our IP. I know which I prefer.....

I sometimes wonder how she fits in a life outside of her work as her dedication and passion to this field and helping people, whether clients of hers or not, is second to none.

Mel is worth her weight in gold and a credit to this profession and without the risk of sounding a sycophant...a fantastic IP to work with, if not the best.

Thought I'd just put my pennysworth in!

Wuffy. I would sit through every Barry Manilow song ever written rather than get a chewing from Melanie!

Joking apart, she is a lovely lady and certainly one of the best IPs in the business.

You have me all blushing with your very kind words, but thank you very much for all taking time to pen your supportive posts today. Very much appreciated, especially as I am struggling with a couple of very difficult cases (and creditors!) right now!

It makes no difference to me whether I am helping my own clients or others - I love the profession that I chose and if I can help clients or other IPs in any way I will do my best to do so. Being a part of this forum really does help me in my day to day knowledge of what is going on in the world, and you are all great contributors and let's hope we are still all posting in 10 years time!
Regards, Melanie Giles, Insolvency Practitioner

I wholeheartedly agree with everything that has been said.
I have worked with people who go the extra mile, but NEVER in the same league as Melanie.
A real credit to the profession.

Having Melanie as my IP I can say first hand what a wonderful IP she is. I've only praise for her too and find her always approachable and the times she's about is way above and beyond that of an IP....keep up the good work Melanie and see you on Saturday x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
