Hi
I would appreciate if you could give me some advice.
I settled my Iva July this year.
It is due to drop off my file in July 2021.
I’m employed with a salary of £42,000.
I am hoping if I would be able to get a mortgage for approx £160,000-180,000 at that time.
Would this be possible with special lenders? Or maybe be able to buy a shared ownership?.
I’m a council tenant and have been for 16 yrs.
Any advice would be well appreciated!
Thanks

I would suggest a chat with a mortgage broker with experience in adverse credit. We have two who post regularly on here; Ryan and Shaun. Their contact details can be gleaned from their profiles here:

Ryan: memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=18488
Shaun: memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=22837

As a council tenant of long standing, have you looked at the Right to Buy Scheme ?
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
