We currently 10 months into a mortgage with central trust. I’m post Iva. Few years left until off my record my partner also as a few old CCJ’s the interest rate is 10%! Just wondering if anyone could recommend anyone to see if we could get a better deal currently we pay 998 a month .

Thanks

You could have a word with Ryan and / or Shaun who both regularly place mortgages for those of us with an IVA in the past .... you can start the groundwork early, but I would say, if you can, wait out until the IVA clears from your records to get a better deal. With that and the CCJ's you are still looking at higher than average rates.

You can get their contact details from their profiles here:

Ryan : memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=18488
Shaun: memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=22837
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Do speak to Ryan or Shaun as recommended

It's entirely possible that there's something more competitive out there - this will of course depend on your other circumstances but often the best position we try to put our clients in is to understand the alternatives: What would it look like if I could do it now and what needs to change before I can get to somewhere better....only when you know the alternatives can you make an informed choice.
