My husband & I have just been released from our Trust deeds.
We are hoping to move before the summer of this year but understand obtaining a new mortgage deal is going to be tricky!
We have both got credit builder cards and a good deposit from the equity built in our home.
Could someone point us in the right direction or recommend mortgage advisors who take on clients from discharged trust deeds?!
Thanks!
It will depend on the start date as to if we can look to use High Street Lenders at this time or not. We've certainly assisted others on the forum in similar situations.

You'd be looking next year - 6 years from the start date - when some High Street Lenders will look to lend. Prior to then you'd need a big deposit (minimum 30% possibly) and you'd be looking at specialist Lenders so higher than normal interest rates, plus not all of the specialist Lenders may look to lend in Scotland currently.

If you contact us via the links in my signature - we can arrange mortgages all over the country. Trust Deeds/IVAs are a very specialist area where mortgages are concerned and most Brokers on the High Street don't come across them too often so don't really know who will lend when.
