Mortgage - I am reaching the end of my fixed rate on my mortgage. I hold this with NR who are also one of my creditors.Would i be better trying to secure another fixed rate with them, or look elsewhere? would I be considered for this as I am currently in an IVA

I would see if NR will consider a further deal.

I doubt you will get anyone else to take you on at the moment.

I came to the end of my fixed rate back in March I think it was and went to the SVR, this gave me more disposable to put more into my IVA. Maybe NR would consider another deal, it won't do any harm to ask, I personally didn't ask my mortgage provider. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I am in the same boat with NR although ours dosen't finish until next July. Our payments would reduce by about £250 a month on the SVR but who knows what that will be by next year.
