Hi I have an iva but just in my name
My partner wants a mortgage would it be possible to get one in both our names or better yo just get one in his ?

You will not be able to get or join in a mortgage until your credit record is clear, which will be around 6 years after the IVA began. I would suggest a chat with one or both of the mortgage experts who post on here: Ryan or Shaun. Agree with foggy. Also if you have joint financial accounts you may find it harder for your partner to get a mortgage in his own right too as your financial status will be linked.

I think there is different kinds of options available which offer by the different companies.

Give our mortgage experts a call, but, as others have said, you will not be able to get a joint mortgage whilst in an IVA.
