IVA started 1 November 2013, completed Jan 2018, removed from credit file November 2019. I'm looking to buy a house with my husband soon and need to find a lender that will consider us. Husband's credit is excellent, he's paid off his credit card (never any missed payments). Seen a house we like, £140000, have deposit of £20000 with extra savings to cover fees and costs. Any suggestions where to go? I'm terrified of being rejected for a mortgage.
We have two brokers on forum who have considerable experience in adverse credit applications and much success in placing mortgages for us ex-IVA'ers with reasonable rates.
Their details can be gleaned from their profiles here:
Thanks guys, hope you are all safe and well.

IVA Mortgage advice needed? Looking at Right to Buy and completed IVA still on credit files ?
Congratulations on getting to this stage. From what you say there's every possibility of being able to obtain a competitive mortgage, although it is important to know what you are doing with these things - applying randomly is rarely a good idea in this situation and there's a little preparatory work to be done ahead of an application to give you the best chance of success.
