Mortgage provider not part of IVA & PPI

if my mortgage provider - the Halifax was never part of the IVA and I always made the payments...can the iva company go in and claim the PPi which I believe is there?

Yes they can and anything claimed will be paid across to your creditors.

Agree with Foggy - but make sure you highlight if you have ever had to claim against that protection.

You could try and get the Halifax to reduce the balance of your mortgage by any overpayment. This could create equity and a possible extension but might be of a benefit in the future.
