Hi Shaun/Ryan
I currently have an iva still showing on my credit file. The via was completed early and was completed in August 2017. However it will show on my credit file until November 2020. I have been looking at help to buy mortgages where the builder can assist with 20% I will also have a 10k deposit. Under those circumstances would there be any way of me getting a mortgage under help to buy? Or if not could you recommend any savings that will give me the best profit.

I am sure Ryan and or Shaun will be about later this morning to give you the advice you are seeking.

Here's hoping that you are successful in your homebuying in 2020 when clear of your iva. Good luck x

Hi Adele,

We are in talks at present with a Specialist Lender who is looking to launch a Help to Buy product in the next couple of months that would be available to those who have settled IVAs early so fingers crossed that will be launched sooner rather than later.

As for the High Street Lenders the earliest that we could apply under Help to Buy would be 6 years after the IVA began.
