Would I be able to get a mortgage on a shared ownership property whilst I’m still in an Iva?, I have seen a house I can afford each month aswell as paying my Iva off !, my Iva should end next year but I saw a property yesterday and really like it just need advice if I could get a mortgage on it
I agree with Foggy - hang on until the end of your IVA.

Hi susie451
Unfortunately there are no lenders who will offer a Shared Ownership mortgage whilst the IVA is still showing on your credit file. Once it is over 6yrs and off the credit file, i am sure this could be sorted for you. Happy to help in future if you would like to get in touch directly.
