A question I need to ask , I am thinking of moving in with my partner he has nearly finished his mortgage , we are going to halve the bills electric food etc how does this work when it comes to a review and expenditure ?

Usually, when there is a solvent partner in the picture, their income is used to calculate the 'fair share' of household expenses. If you earn roughly the same, or if the partner refuses to divulge his or her income ( which they are entitled to do) the split will be 50/50 .... so, for instance, if the elctricity was agreed at £50 per month, your 'allowance' would be £25. If the partner earns more than you they would be expected to contribute more to the bills, so your agreed allowance would decrease.

I would move in as the "lodger" not a partner until the iva has completed and fully closed. That way your incomes are both completely separate.
