Me and my husband are looking to move to Canada. We have two years left on our IVA and had assumed we would have to wait until it was finished to move. Is this the case or will we be able to go as long as we can keep up with the payments from Canada?

From the IVA perspective, yes, it is OK to move to Canada, as long as you keep the IP informed of your address and employment details. When making payments you will have to adjust for exchange rate every month.

It would be wise to check with Canadian Immigration as to how the IVA might affect immigration status / visas, if at all.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.
