My budget has 3 elements, my salary, the child benefit and universal credit received by my wife. The first review brings up my salary has raised more than 10% due to overtimes, hovewer the agreed budget did not, yet PayPlan wants me to do addicional payment into the IVA. Is that right?
I thought my budget is my budget, I was aware that overtime is extra money, and also ddid know whenever I got more salary, she receives less universal credit so the budget wiont really change.
Payplan is one of the very few firms that take a spousal income into the IVA to form part of the disposable income --- but, having done so they should reflect reductions in one income stream against gains in another and base the payment on any net increase. However they do have tendency to do things their own way and are pretty much fireproof.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
