I am not getting sick pay for this time and am currently in some arrears with the IVA, but have been making payments towards the arrears over the last few months. Would I be able to take a payment break for the month? As I have earned very little, or would the arrears prevent this?

Payment breaks are at the discretion of your supervisor, but are not normally a problem. You need to have a chat with your provider.

Thanks. I’ll certainly be doing that, but in my experience they try and make it as difficult as possible. I guess that’s their job though.
