My IVA ends Sept 1st 2010 and i wondered if its the same process as the review? Just want to keep my papers all together. I have just got pregnant too but dont want to upset the apple cart and so want to continue with the iva as only a few months left. can you advise if DFD need the usual things and how long it will take to get my certificate of payment/conclusion of the IVA.
Well done on almost completing, and congratulations on the pregnancy.
I don't know what DFD need for the final months, but hopefully Declan from DFD will be along tomorrow to advise.

They intially asked for payslips and P60 etc. But when I emailed them to check (as they would not be putting payments up, as it would be ending) they said not to worry about the payslips etc! So to be honest it looks to be the same sort of process, just that they are not looking to review payments.
My Completion Certificate came about a month and a half after it had completed, however, I understand this is significantly quicker than most (can take 3 to 4 mths).
Declan from DFD is often on here and is very supportive and helpful if you need it.

Not had any comment from Declan yet so hope you are out there Declan?? I just wanted to know what paper work you require when my IVA ends - my first payment was 1 Sept 2005. Im now 31wks pregnant and my situation is still the same other than im on maternity leave now. What will be asked for (doc wise) and when will payments cease etc, also that wonderful document confirming its over! Cant wait for that to arrive. Phew, thanks lots all. x
Declan doesn't post during a weekend normally, it's only during working hours so I am sure he will be on tomorrow to pick this up.

Congratulations to you too traceman and I believe to our expert poster Helen you're all nearly finished!
Hi Julie, Kallis and Traceman. Thanks for the replies. Traceman, cant believe your day is almost here. Its hard isnt it? Well done for going the distance. I found writing down my 60 payments on a chart and highlighting them every month really helped me see the end. Maybe that will help others. I promised myself a holiday afterwards as you just cant afford anything on an IVA but i am making do with a little miracle (baby) instead. [:)] Cant believe how lovely people are on here. Thanks again and to those who have a way to go, there really is light at the end of the tunnel. Keep going.
Hope Declan survived that bunjee jump and im sure it was in a good cause. I will await his expert advice in due course.
