Hi Lorraine
Apologies for not picking this up earlier and also congratulations on the pregnancy. In terms of what is required for the closure of your IVA - nothing really as you will have made all the agreed payments. Its your creditors that will need to provide paper work but not you!

I will keep an eye on things for you if you like?

Thanks

Hi all

How many lovely people in one place? Its so refreshing. Declan thank you so much for this info, at least i know now and can look forward to the final day. So pleased for those that are completing theirs soon. It will be a day to remember. One good thing is that i have learned the value of every penny whereas i had a lesson to learn last time. Declan please do keep an eye on things if you can if you need any more information from me, just shout up. Huge thanks to the wonderful people on here and for all the words of encouragement and kindness. Wishing you all the best and i will keep you posted re baby. Should be here in July and then its 2 months to go. Lots of love, Lorraine and Baby Baines. xxx

Hi everyone. Its me. I just thought as today is the last ever debt payment on my 5 yr IVA, i wanted to update you all and ofcourse reassure everyone that its well worth the wait. In this 5 yrs I have learned how to treat money and not fritter it away on trivia. I have nothing to show for my debt, just a string of homes/addresses, broken relationships and a few holidays. However, I have learned so much and i will never owe anyone any money ever again! (My last payment is actually today - 1st Oct and not Sept as i thought) Also I gave birth to a lovely little girl, Isabella who is now 3 months old. I really feel blessed and the road felt very long at the time, but its well worth it. Thank you Debt Free Direct for endless help and support throughout this time. 2 words of wisdom kept me going when i was on my knees, jobless and too scared to open the mail.. "keep going".. it worked for me in the end as Im sure it can work for you too. Thank you to everyone that posted on this chat. There really is light at the end of the tunnel. Best wishes, Lorraine and Baby Isabella, xx
