Good afternoon everyone. I was just wondering if I could ask your advice as today I received an email to explain that my IVA provider (Middlebrooks) has been taken over by another company called begbies traynor, and that my IP has also changed. I was extremely happy with the service Middlebrooks provided and found my IP to be really supportive and helpful so I’m a bit worried about this. Does anyone have any experience of the company at all? Will I be asked to send them anything?
Any help would be much appreciated!
The new firm should operate the IVA in exactly the same way, as regards terms and conditions. As for their competency, I cannot comment as they are an 'unknown' to me. They do look like a corporate giant, so it doesn't look promising.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

That's interesting, I've never seen Begbies Traynor do personal insolvency before. So in that respect, they're a bit of an unknown.
They're very well known for corporate insolvency and have a good reputation in this respect, however.
I work for one of the UK's biggest Insolvency Practitioners. All posts I make are my own thoughts and/or opinion and are not the views of my employer. None of my posts constitute legal advice and should not be taken as such.
It’s comforting to know they have a good reputation in that area at least. I’m just feeling a little sad about it as I had such a wonderful company who I really felt cared about me as a person not just a customer. Fingers crossed
