My late father had an IVA which they have agreed on a lump sum to finalize . Now he has a joint tenacy agreement in place as he re married ( house is paid for) in his will he left his half share of the property value to his children although his wife has insisted she will pay the debt if we sign over our half stake left to us . Can anyone help / advise as dealings have become untenable with his wife and she has always been this way towards us and us doing everything possible to be awkward . Obviously the IP provider is putting pressure on as my late father left his children as executors due to DNA total difficulties . He passed quite quickly before divorcing ect so been s very testing time. The wife cashed in all pensions wasting no time. Which we should have known when she ordered 10 death certificates of her intentions .
Speak to the IP again and explain everything to them. I also suggest you take legal advice as well.
