We were asked for P60 but IP told us not to bother as payslip has all info they need.

I don't send ours either. Never been asked for it.

Hi there

I only just saw your post and wanted to clarify the issue of P60's.

I have been a payroll manager for over 10 years and your employers are able produce duplicate P60's at the request of the employee.

The print out is slightly different to the original and it will say that it is a duplicate. I cannot see any reason why your employers cannot do this. If they dont, then they are actually breaching HMRC legislation.

Hope this helps.

Totally agree Missyp - HRM for over 15yrs, hence my advice.

I also encourage employees to make their own copies.

It doesn't matter whether it says duplicate or not, as long as it has the relevant information then that is all that matters.

We're a talented lot on here Mel [:D]

I have to admit, payroll is not one of my favourite things, just something that has to be done [:D]

I lost mine but I was asked to send my last 12 wage slips and this was enough.
