My partner is about to enter into an IVA. I was planning on moving in with him. His DM company have asked him how much i earn a year. Surley it is nothing to do with them what i earn? As the debt was run up when he was married. I will of course be contributing to the bills and rent. I am in the last year of an IVA myself and as i understand it, it goes on the Individual? Do i have to tell them how much i earn and will it effect my IVA or my partners?

Hi there and welcome to the forum

If you are going to be sharing the household expenditure with your partner, then his share will be less and thus his disposable income available to repay creditors with will be higher. So it is a reasonable request, and will not affect your IVA unless your expenditure increases or decreases which will have a similar effect on yoru own disposable income.

Its prefectly normal to ensure a fair split of household expenditure.

Good luck with the moving in.
