An update on the Nationwide cash card+. I received mine in today's post (valid until 2014!!). It is a debit card in all but name and can be used in shops or telephone/internet purchases. It is issued to all account holders i.e. including those of us who only have the basic flexi account (cuurent account holders will no longer be issued a cheque book)

Good news for those of us with Nationwide and perhaps a consideration for new IVA applicants deciding who to bank with.

I think some of our posters have theirs and others still waiting so hopefully all Nationwide customers will have theirs soon. xx
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Hopefully you will all be able to use them straightaway.

Ours cannot be used with our old pin numbers (as we were originally advised) and we have to wait for new ones.
