IF I WAS TO GET A NEW BANK A/C, WHICH BANKS CAN I CHOOSE THAT ARE NOT OWNED BY MY C/C COMPANIES SO AS NOT TO FALL FOR SETTING OFF RULES? I HAVE C/Cs WITH B/CARD,MBNA,HALIFAX,RBS AND A SANTANDER O/D.

Hi David and welcome to the forum, I'm not sure who is connected with who but do know it won't be long until someone is along who does know and they will advise you x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

If your credit rating is already bad I would recommend the Co-op Cashminder account. If it's still ok you could apply for their full current account, or try Nationwide.

Hi david.68,

Our clients have consistently praised the service that they have received from the Co-op bank.

As Skippy mentions the basic account they offer is the Cashminder account. It comes with a debit card so is pretty functional.
