My IVA was set up by Vanguard which has now passed over its clients to Ebenegate. I have my next annual review coming up in the new year. Vanguard I had to send 3 months bank statements and my tax return and yearly takings as documents. Im guessing with ebenegate who work alongside credit fix will now want 6 months online access to my bank account am I allowed to refuse and do what I had originally signed up to do with vanguard? my accounts have been all over the place this year with self employed grants and less income due to longer appointment times at work.
I don't like the idea of someone having my account details.
my partner is saving to help offer a f&f offer so hopefully this might be the last review.
Yes, you can refuse third party access to your bank account. My own feelings are that I would never grant TPA to anyone and I see no need to. Add into the equation that you are now being 'shared' between Vanguard and Creditfix / Ebenegate, whose admin is dealt with in Mauritius and it is a rather unstable mix.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
I agree with Foggy - would never give them access to my account.
