So I’m currently talking to national debt advice who are helping me set up and Iva with an insolvency Practitioner they first put me in touch with Hannover which went smoothly until the creditors meeting was rejected because of their fixed fees, they’ve now put me in touch with anchorage chambers which offers a no fixed fee but the still charges fees has anyone else has this much trouble or heard from this company, I’m new to all this and I’m really stressing
All IVA companies charge fees, some like Creditfix, charge more than others. Speak to a smaller firm or check out Stepchange who get decent feedback on here. Look around and see what people have said.
Sharing from experiences of dealing with debt
The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.

Creditfix charge the highest fees and are often brought to task and this delays many proposals. The usual is a percentage of realisations (often 15% to 25% ), rather than the more traditional fixed fee.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
I have just received my completion certificate after 7 months of making my final payment back in April. I have been with anchorage chambers for the full 5 years and they have been great. Really friendly and helpful . The annual reviews went without a hitch.
If you have any questions or queries they are easy to get hold off. I would recommend them .
5 years seems like a long time but it flies over . Good luck
