Hi I’ve been in an Iva for 3 years and have not had review before. They are now asking for 3 months bank statements but I know I will owe them some money as my money has increased. My question is as I haven’t had a yearly review should I send a years worth of statements or can they ask for the last 3 years. I am thinking as they haven’t stuck to their contract to ask for a yearly review I should just send a year .thank you for your view

They are not in the contract -- they only supervise it. It is your IVA, not theirs. Yes, they should be on the ball and conducted the annual reviews ... but equally you should be there to remind them when they miss things. It will be your IVA that could fail if things go wrong !

Usually, missed reviews come to light at the end in the final review, when they are supposed to re-visit each year to make sure no extra income was missed --- if they find it has they will ask for the "arrears" then, before the IVA can be closed.

Your IP could just be bone idle and let it slide .. he could, as above, ask for a lump of "arrears". We have had people (rarely) get through without a single review, but it often "hits the fan" when there is a change of provider / IP and the new one checks back. They might even have been doing "rubber stamp" reviews in the past and winging it --- but it is your life they are playing with !

Who are you with ?
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
