Just a quickie for anyone who read my earlier post/moan - I emailed my IP personally this evening (around 7:30pm) to explain about the car breaking down and asking for a 1 month payment break which I would pay back over the next 10 months with small parts from our contingency money and other budgeting ... I was hoping for a reply by the end of week possibly...

... and at 11pm tonight my IP personally emailed me back to confirm my proposal for a break and modified payments was perfectly acceptable and authorised!!! [:D][:D][:D]

So just wanted to say how amazing many IP's are (of course we already know that about many who post on here) and how grateful I am for their long hours and understanding.

The point of this post is to reiterate what's already been said many times on forum - if you are at all unsure or worried about an emergency contact your IP direct to talk about it as chances are they are a human being too who understands and can help where possible.

I will now sleep well tonight [:)]
Thanks again for the support

Which firm are you with - go on give this chap a well deserved public pat on the back for being there when you needed him.

Nicola is a great IP - I have met her once and I know she has a great reputation. Very impressed to see that she was able to deal with your query personally at such a late hour.

For a firm who often get a lot of stick on this forum, I think that we would all agree this is first class client service indeed.

My IP..namely Melanie Giles also replies to emails out of office hours. I once had a sleepless night about something, emailed her not expecting a reply straightaway but got one at just past midnight.

First class service from Nicola too and pleased for you TIL. x

Thanks Lesley - it's so nice to know we have IP's that understand and most certainly work long hours to help their clients [:)]

I have to say Melanie I never expected to get a response so fast and so late - this is certainly a case of first class service and meant a lot to us. While DFD may get stick occasionally they have been nothing but professional and very helpful to us so far on everything that has come up.

That's excellent Til, and fantastic service from your IP.

I'm sure Declan will pick up on this.

Thanks all - yes I slept very well thanks Helen [:)] I'll bet you will be sleeping even better in a couple days too! Congrats on reaching the finish line [:D]

Yes DFD have definitely been very good with us so far and hope Declan picks up this thread by way of my thanks - it's good to know others have had good service from them too - makes me feel even more reassured.

I'm with DFD and also have Nicola as my IP. I have had no trouble at all and hopefully I won't run into any. It's reassuring to know that such good service is available. Thanks again to DFD
