Hi, back in 2014 my husband and I entered into an IVA. We paid the instalments on time every month for approximately 2 years. However, we fell behind with the payments and whilst I was in contact with the IVA company discussing this etc. I missed a couple of payments then paid another instalment but out of the blew we were informed that the IVA had failed and since that date we haven't paid anything. We haven't heard a thing from any of the creditors until just recently one of the my husband's creditors are asking for payment. I have contacted them today and offered to pay it .
Our IVA with was with Debt Free Direct. Can you help and advise please
I would speak to them to see if anything can be salvage. Did you have a termination letter?

You will be, basically, back to square one with creditors, who are now free to pusue the debts and enforce collection as they see fit. It is possible that you could start afresh with a new IVA --- if the creditors agree, or, perhaps, pursue another solution. Perhaps a chat with another firm would help.
Aperture took over DFD's caseload in 2017 --- were you issued with any completion paperwork ? Have you checked your entry on the Insolvency Register ?
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
