You do need to speak to CF - will it impact on your IVA payments? Will they need to do a credit check?

It will hinge on whether CF agree to the arrangement, then on whether WtW will accept you.

Let us know how you get on.

An IVA on credit files is pretty much the 'kiss of death', however, some firms have a more flexible policy and will lend regardless. For instance, I managed to get a new phone contract during my IVA. Maybe have a chat with WtW first before involving CF.

Agree with foggy ... call WtW and talk to them. Be honest about your iva and see what they say ....you may be surprised!

Okay so I emailed them asking if they do credit checks and they replied with “ Thank you for your enquiry. We do not do credit checks for the moped loans, but do ask for proof of employment with completed applications. If you would like any further information please ask”

What travel related expenses do you already have agreed, if any ? If you can show that the moped will be cheaper in the long run, that would help. Also point out your current difficulties and how they might stop you getting to work ( no work = no income = no debt repayment) .

Explain why you need it and the full circumstances of the contract ad the fact that it will impact on your work.

You could try putting it into an email.
