It's all relative. Depends on income and your disposable income after essential bills have been paid.

We only pay £180, but we have a low income (my wages only) our income dropped by over £1000 per month when hubby was made redundant and his JSA stopped, hence the reason we are in an IVA.

The average in my Scottish practice for our Trust Deeds is somewhat lower - more round the £250 mark for some strange reason. Am sure Paul will have some comment to make on this from north of the border!!

Statistically we have lower incomes up here so that sort of explains(in a very easy way),why your average up here is less.
Plus we all get an allowance for keeping our pet haggis out on the hillside. Its an expensive thing to keep what with nail trimming and shampoo and sets required frequently due to our pooor weather. That and little tartan winter coats for them, that never last from one year to the next due to the fantastical growth rate among the healthiest of haggis.

Me pay £325 on 40K, as others have said depends on income and outgoings, love the needy Haggis Paul, that is why over the Border they seem to get a better deal [:D]
