It's a telephone interview and hubby will be at work. He's took quite a lot of time off recently due to the bankruptcy, he can't really take anymore off. I'll ask today and hopefully she will be ok about discussing it.
It's nice to be back......

Good luck

try to have your statement of affairs with you
and make a list of critical expenses and their expected costs - as per posts - so that you can go over them with the chap . Also good to have a glass of water.

Keep calm and don't forget it is not an interrogation they are simply trying to find out :-

do you have any assets now
have you got rid of assets at "under value"
did you start out years ago to "defraud the banks"
can you make a contribution payment

If it gets too much for you tell the chap you need to go to the bathroom and call him back in 5 mins. You can get your composure, think about what was discussed and this puts you back in charge of the conversation .

let us know how you get on

take care

Good advice from Paul. Anything you are likely to get in a jumble write it down, take your time. If they wont let you discuss hubby, ask if he rings and confirms it is ok then will they be able to. My husband does this all the time as he goes blank on the phone and cant remember what he needs to say.

All the best..

Hiya everyone, just an update. I sent off all the forms that the OR needed and I've heard nothing! Finally managed to surrender the house-nightmare-so I guess it's just a waiting game now. I'll post anything else that might happen..
xx
It's nice to be back......

Yes, I have not heard anything either, after sending a letter to OR about 3 weeks ago saying we do not agree with IPA and are not signing it[:0]

My house was repossessed today too, its was a bit upsetting seeing it go[:(]

Think of it as the first day in a debt-free future Jane. Remember my comments about houses and homes. I am sure that you have made a lovely home for you and your family now, and that is all that matters. When I think of the burden that property has been to you over the last year or so - I am really glad to see it go.

Tell me did you ever find your lost cat? I wonder if I had missed the resolution of that thread?

I was just too upset to post anymore when my cat went missing, I know there were some quite harsh comments, (I felt), that I took to heart, in the vein of “its only a cat, and family matters more”, etc but I was absolutely devastated when he went missing, especially after the traumatic year we had had, and to happen on Boxing Day too! I really do think of him as “my baby”

We looked everywhere for him, it was awful. I am pleased to say a lady rang up and she had seen him hiding under the decking in her garden nearly 3 WEEKS later! He was so ill. He had lost a third of his body weight, had a temperature and early liver failure through starvation. Luckily he pulled through, the vet said any longer and he would have died. I was just so relieved to get him back, I thought I would never see him again and those weeks were really dark times for me. Stupid, I know! Anyway, that little adventure cost me £300 in vets fees. Oops! Luckily we got some back from Petplan.

Just spent ages trying to put a photo of him on here, but I cannot get it to work![8D]

I've sent you an email, Jane, just reply with an attached photo (any format) and I'll do the rest [:)]
cheers admin

Oh Jane - that has really made my day. I was convinced that you were going to be giving us bad news and I am so pleased you found him.

Not stupid - if I lost my dog I would be absolutely devastated, so I can completely understand your position. Postitive things like this, really do put your other issues into perspective.

I think he is totally fed up with me now, as all I do is hug and kiss him and he is not really a lapcat at all! Although he has been far more friendly and affectionate since he came back, I think he realises he is on to a good thing living here and he is glad to be home!

That's really good news Jane, I'm really pleased for you and your cat. Perhaps Admin could make him your avatar?

So glad you got your cat back Jane, I remember the post and I think it was me who said the things you mentioned. I am sorry, did not mean to upset you. I was just thinking what a stinking year your kids have had too and I felt sorry for them with you in a state and it being Christmas. Its really not in my nature to be horrible to anyone in a state. The previous year I lost my mom two days before Christmas and tried sooo hard to hold it all back for the sake of my kids.

Since my lovely, georeous, munchy mostache boy who is the light of my life has been poorly the last 3 weeks, I have a better understanding of what it means. Right now I am going to have to find him for a munch. Dont think I could bare it if he was lost, scared and alone.

I asked admin if I could have one of my little bottle fed babies as an avatar and they did it for me. I sent it attached to an email.
