Hi my IVA is now being administered by Ebenegate on behalf of Vanguard. My IVA has just been reviewed and Ebenegate has decided to increase my payments by £93 which will put me into hardship. Nothing has changed financially since the last review and I have kept within the 10% of earning with my overtime at work. What can I do to get to increase reversed.

You need to ask them to provide proof of where the increase comes from. Has anything altered since last year - have you had a payrise?

Hi, No I haven't had a payrise. I have no additional income everything is the same. The only difference I can think of is the way I pay my bills I transfer £140. to my wifes bank account to put towards bills. Last year I gave her the cash towards the bills.

You need to explain this to them, and ask why this has made a difference.

Thank you for the advice. I have emailed them, since no one will take my call when I phone them.

Email them asking for an explanation --- if you look yourself up on the Insolvency Register here: https://www.insolvencydirect.bis.gov.uk/eiir/ (search by name, then click on your own entry in the results. This will drill down to the IPs details). Then contact the IP directly.

Thanks Foggy I have done that. Just waiting for a response. I have the IP details so I will complain to him if they do not respond or decrease the payment.

If you get nowhere with the IP you can escalate to their regulatory body via the government gateway here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... actitioner
