Hope Henry is recovering well?

We'll be paying a visit to the vet, Dobby has had a "sticky eye" the last few days. I think it could be to do with the heating, but I've read Dobermans can suffer from eye diseases, so we'll get him checked out.

I'm sure he will be Jan...we just fuss over him so much. The vet loves us, we keep him in business...he's certainly one spoilt dog!

You saw the latest pic of him on FB...[:)]

As my 6 yr old grandaughter says, " he's one gawjus dog" [:D]

She's right! He is lovely.

Can't be too careful with them though.

Hope he's ok too Julie and I looked at your pics, good job my dogs didn't see them, they'd be packing their bags and moving to your house!

Our two sleep on the bed, and in Lloyds case, under the bedclothes!

He keeps me warm as I do feel the cold these days!

Our dogs have always been allowed the run of the house when we are at home. When we are out they are confined to the living room, but we never leave them for more than a couple of hours on their own.

Mine are outdoor dogs and go out when hubby goes to work or around 9am on a weekend and come in when they've had their evening meal, they've a lovely kennel and are completely secure.

Mine would die if I tried to put them outside in a kennel!

Lloyd skids to a halt at the back door when it's raining and refuses to go out!

However, put his lead and coat on and he'll walk for hours in all weathers.

They've always been brought up to go outdoors during the day, I wouldn't have them out at night though. They're more than happy and have their ball and chews.

Mine don't have any toys at all and no longer have chews as we can't trust Suzie not to swallow whole chunks, so it's not fair on her if Lloyd has any.

We do give them biscuits and they have scratchings each week from the butchers.
