I have just been given a puppy. I want to take out pet insurance incase anything needs to be done later on in life and I would not be able to afford the vet fees. Would I be in breach of my IVA if I did this ?

Hi and welcome to the forum. Lucky you getting a puppy - what sort is s/he?

No, you wouldn't be in breach of your IVA if you took out pet insurance. It's a good thing to have it as vets' bills can be very high.

Not at all - shop around for the best price and your IP should be fine with this.

I have three lots of pet insurance. I'd never have a dog without it.
