So I signed my proposal documents on Wednesday with a company called “the debt insolvency group”. Haven’t had my creditors meeting as of yet. I had got myself into 15,000 worth of debt and was struggling incredibly hence the IVA. On Friday I tried to contact to cancel and they whatsapped me saying they cancelled it (see pictures) but I don’t seem too convinced. I’d want someone more in writing. (Have also emailed them and and tried to ring but they don’t want anything to do with me now).
After talks with my family they have advised they’ll get the debt payed off for me so I don’t have to go through an Iva but I have noticed that all my accounts have been frozen, tomorrow I will be completely debt free and would have paid all the creditors off before the creditors meeting even took place but I’ve heard they still go ahead with these meetings? Surely at this meeting they’ll see all of my debt has been paid back to themselves in full by me.
Another thing is I’ve noticed some of accounts have been frozen, Will they be lifted once the debt it paid back :D

Thanks in advance

The accounts are probably being frozen because the creditors have already been told of the impending IVA. This might take a bit of untangling.
The creditors meeting will not go ahead now, in any form, I would imagine, as the IP will not be getting any fees. It might be an idea to contact your creditors directly and explain --- the IP might just leave them hanging in the air.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
