hi ,3 years in now on iva ,just received breach ,for not giving pension details ,start of iva ,mainly because we didn't know
however we have creditors meeting of early and final ,and also they have arranged same day meeting regarding breach
16,000 debt paid in over 14.500 already ,we cant get any straight answers ,but any thoughts ,we are worried they wont except offer and use the breach to kick us off iva ,pension was done 30 years ago ,we believe it was national ins cont ,we only found out 6 months ago by dept working pensions ,we gave in all evidence ,iva wont let us talk to ip ,they just said wait and see what happens at creditors meeting it can go 1 way are the other ,in total honesty breach could not been avoided ,because we just did not no ,pension happened in 1989 ,we passed over the document from dwp informing us that the pension provider was after identifying and speaking to us dated November 2019 ,we have explained ,pleaded with them ,but they have replied its down to the creditors ,and that we should have known abouth the pension ,we did not know so how should we have known

Hi I am going through a similar thing at the minute about a pension but not exact same circumstances so I know how you feel its very worrying ,just waiting to see if creditors accept F&F ,although they did say to me don't worry you are not the first and you won't be the last ,I hope it works out fine for you .

Whichever way it goes I would lodge a formal complaint and escalate it to your IPs regulatory body. It is abysmal that some firms are so "up themselves" as to think that their IP is too good to speak to clients, while leaving you to deal with the monkey on the end of the phone, who probably doesn't know what is actually going on!
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
