Hi All,

Just awaiting my completion certificate and have been sent some paperwork to sign and it refers to a court case Green v Wright regarding asset recovery after being discharged from the IVA and being debt free.

Question is...... My IVA has a clause in it regarding and windfall must be paid to creditors. Green v wright was regarding PPI, so say for instance I received a windfall from say my parents will after death, would my IP and creditors still have a claim to that money even years after the IVA was finished?

Thanks

Inheritance will be fine but PPI is still due to your creditors.

As long as any windfall became due to you after the completion of the IVA it will be yours. The thing about PPI was that it existed during the IVA.
