Guess what ....?

This months (Augusts' posts) Post of the Month has come around again and the winners have been pulled out of the hat...................

There are three this time round due to previous winners not claiming their voucher !

This months recipients of a £25 High Street Shopping Voucher each are ........ <<drum roll>>

Tierna For : viewtopic.php?f=173&t=89515&p=747666#p747665
A journey's tale -- with the ups and downs and a cameo appearance by Peter Falk 8)

Getting to the end, warts and all. And ...

fishface For: dancing-with-joy-t89617
The arrival of the completion certificate and a dance of joy !

Tierna, JustPlainStupid and fishface if you could email your details to me at maddogmulgrew "at" aol "dot" com and I will sort out your High Street shopping vouchers. If I do not hear within the month unclaimed vouchers will be rolled over to the next month and re-allocated.

Please note this email address is not manned all of the time, only for POTM purposes, so if you do send a mail there at any other time I am afraid it might well be left unopened.

Well deserved - let's hope they come forward to claim.

I am honoured that my rant about the finer points of an IVA have been recognised. Thank you :D

Can I assign mine to Foggy?

I was just talking to my other half about this before I'd seen about my "win". Foggy replies to people who are often at their wits end with worry, often within minutes of them posting. That is HUGELY valuable. I've ranted and raved about my experience several times. Foggy replies in a balanced way, ignoring the vitriol to pick things apart and provide constructive advice. He's an absolute legend in my book!

I know there are pros in here who also give their time to advise for nothing, and I salute them too but if I had to choose one member of the team who deserves this I would have to choose Foggy.

Failing that, can it be assigned to a "deserving" case. Or even a charity related to our plights?

Cheers
Andy

Nice thought and I'm sure he will appreciate it but he won't be able to accept it.

All worthy winners this month.

Please accept your vouchers and if you then want to give to charity or a local voluntary group that's your decision. As moderators we cannot accept it, however kind the offer is.

Thank you for that. I'll see if I can find something local to where I live that helps people in financial difficulties. Or I'll spend the vouchers and donate the equivalent cash to something.

Thank you for your kind words, but I am not alone in the advice I try to give --- as you say, numerous others give up their time to help the other members and prospective members.

As the others have said, I cannot accept your kind offer --- how about buying some supplies for your local food bank, or they might accept the voucher itself and go shopping ?
