Good afternoon I have recently started an Iva it’s been going for 3 months now it’s in my name.... my wife has told told me she applied for ppi what I k ew nothing about the ppi in question was in joint names going back when we got our first council house it was a loan for the carpets etc well it’s came back that we are getting £15.555.39 now I know this has got to be paid into my Iva but my wife did pay half the loan back so what happens there

Joint loan = joint PPI. Her half is hers to do with as she wishes, your half will be paid into your IVA.

At least this is the theory --- of late some IP's firms are getting a little inventive with interpretation, so might need keeping in check !
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
