Hello. My IVA was settled in 2014, I have been issued with my certificate and have been removed from the insolvency register. My IVA no longer shows on my credit file so all good. however. I have collected some PPI last year and am being threatened that my certificate of completion will be revoked unless I contact them and pay this money. is this legitimate or just a scare tactic? My IVA ended up with Grant Thornton but the company chasing me is Aperture

PPI legally belongs to the IVA and there is every chance that you signed an assignment as well ---- so, in effect, you have kept money that belongs to someone else. Whether they can revoke the completion I do not know, but they could pursue you for the debt to them -- i.e their money. In the long run you could even be charged with theft.
