The PPI deadline of 29 August 2019, is the last date your submission has to be submit by,
a) But what legally has to be submitted by then, so that you SECURE this date (and they cannot say you missed it)?
For example, a letter? a claim form?
b) In other words, to get 'within' the deadline, what can be done/sent to the PPI credit company now until then, to make sure you have NOT missed this deadline?
(even if it is just an initial basic letter)
c) and if it is an initial basic letter, do you have a template of it/ resource template?
d) and lastly, if you send this to them, can they still say you have MISSED this deadline (by delaying/prolonging it with their reply, until after September 1st for example) - even though the initial letter would be sent in early August...
Please answer in a) b) c) and d) format, for simplicity,
a) The wording being bandied around is that the claim has to be submitted before the deadline
b) The claim -- in whatever form that takes.
c) We deal with IVA's here, not PPI refund claims so have no templates, but I am sure a search on Gogle wil throw up some pearls.
d) As long as the claim has been submitted, they cannot deny it --- but do send by recorded, signed for, delivery, so you have proof.
But ... why wait until the deadline is on the doorstep -- do it now ! I am assuming that you are still not in an IVA, otherwise it would be a fruitless exercise anyway.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
