Hi I have almost finished my IVA after 6 hard years my girlfriend has four more payments on hers then we are done... than goodness...I've just received a letter asking my to sign a deed to pursue PPI claims after we have completed all payments, they are saying to seek legal advice or sign the deed without doing so . our company is Payplan, would are they experts opinions on this please.? P.S. we have already had our PPI claims investigated by Payplan and had a small return to the IVA from this.

Just do it and let them get on with it. You won't benefit from PPI now or in the future even once your IVA is complete. If they want to waste their time revisiting PPI claims then sign the paperwork and let them. They could delay your CC if you don't, and you have no benefit from not doing so.

Pretty much standard practice and a "belt and braces" job for Payplan. The PPI belongs to the creditors anyway, whenever it is claimed in the future --- just let them get on with it and get out of your hair.

Its standard practice and in any event a) if you don't sign they cant close your case b) the law says any pre IVA PPI belongs to the Creditors even after your IVA is finished
