My IVA complete in 2012, I received my completion certificate in 2013. I have recently been advised that I was due commission on PPI claims (all my PPI refunds went to my IVA). How long after completion can my former creditors make a claim on me. My question, should my PPI commission refund have come to me instead of being sent to my IVA administrator?

In theory the PPI and similar refunds are assets of the IVA in perpetuity. In reality, it depends on whether it is economical, or the IP is motivated enough, to dig out old records and contact former creditors.

I contacted Gladstone Brookes a couple of years ago and as soon as they found out I had been in an IVA they did not want to know.
