Tanks fo all the replies. I have several CRB checks which of course do not look inot fiances but I thought this one might and it seems so look into every aspect of my life. I work for an outside agency working with young offenders and have worked in the prison for a while.

I think as it was mentioned thay need to know I am not open to bribery. Of course if I get to complete the form I will be honest about my situation and see what happens. Its just rightly or wrongly the only people who know about my IVA are my daughters and I only told them recently.

Once again thanks for the helpful advice and support.

Jan
Nothing you can buy feels as good as not being in debt.

Good luck from me as well.

I was on an IVA when I applied for Prison work and I have never encountered any problems. As far as I know, the only checks they do are security related. I am not aware of any financial checks.
