Hi all

My car has decided that after 15years to give up the ghost. With the way things are at the moment there will be no way i can pay for one whilst in my iva. My parents are banding around the idea of getting me another one. Is this ok?

Thanks

This is a gift so should be ok.

Possibly worth the new car being under their name until the IVA is over.
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.

It does say on the registration document that the registered keeper is not necessarily the legal owner.

As long as your parents have paperwork proving they have bought the car for you then I think you should be ok.
